Dancing With Tigers?!

We are feeling feisty tonight as we get down to recording. Lisa is making up phrases and words that make no sense and that's not new. She is convinced that she may have created a new word...she hasn't. The word cohort is top of mind for Lisa as she sifts through the daily news. This oddly segways us to talking about sports and play offs. Sam interjects with some info about her weekend and hanging out with her famjam which doesn't last long as Lisa starts harping about her beets again. There is no love from Lisa for Drew Barrymore and her daytime TV show. Give a girl a break! Kelly and Ryan are back in the studio with a weird green screen, Ellen is coming back September 21st and the ladies of the View are struggling with their looks as they premiere their show this week. Sam feels sympathy for Meghan McCain but Lisa is having none of that! We were doing so well with agreeing this week until we started talking about her! Am I Glamorous?

It's officially September and sweater weather but there is no need to turn on the heat Michael Gibson! That red dot on their thermostat is the bane of Lisa's existence. Lisa rants on the color of Jon Bon Jovi's hair. Apparently grey is not his color! We had a girl's night out on Friday and things got interesting as Lisa and the HHG bought drinks for random guys at the bar. We learned that we should have had fake bar names, who knew! Our waitress Hannah Montana was lovely and kept the ladies well stocked in happy hour wine! Tuesday's facebook was another good one with people divided on what 80's movie to ditch. Sam feels like St. Elmo's Fire was the winner! We talk about those who have passed Chadwick Boseman, Princess Diana and Michael Jackson. We offer our podcasting expertise to Meghan and Harry as they contemplate starting a podcast. How expensive is too expensive when it comes to engagement rings? Lisa asks the question, do we have glamorous Canadian stars. We realize, no we don't but that doesn't stop Lisa from claiming she could be glamorous. Sam bursts her bubble with many examples of why she isn't! The Pampered Penguin

You know it's going to be a wild episode when we break into song,  one minute in. With the dog days of summer coming to an end that means Sam can go to bed sooner, those are the rules! Lisa has plum bum but wonders what happened to the corn. What's Freshie you ask well apparently Lisa knows all about it! The world is in an uproar because pumpkin spice is back and no one is ready for that! Gardener You Ain’t!

When did the earth become hell?  This is how Lisa starts off the podcast so you know it's gonna be a good one!! Lisa can not contain her excitement over the choice of Biden's running mate Kamala Harris! The news whore is back in action! I can't think of one thing that gets Trump on Mt. Rushmore and neither can Lisa. Dream on! Keke Palmer is fishing for a new TV gig and reaches out via twitter. Harry Styles tops the charts and neither of us can recall a summer song. We old! On our way home from the lake Lisa got obsessed with finding food truck fries and then tells a lie as she wrongly claims the ultimate SkipBo championship which wasn't even a thing! We get chatting about Mom's baking, Kelly Ripa, Simon Cowell, Rachel Ray, fall decluttering, cutlery separator, new KD flavor, Disney, the world's most expensive mask, Levis, Robin Williams, RedDeer, WWE, snakes, the word slither, the Duggars, the Queen, Finding Freedom, Dr. Pimple Popper, what people resemble and your five year old self! Five Days Too Many!

Listener alert! We are at the lake and had to go old school and recorded it directly to podbean. We are on day 4 of 5 days too many with each other and the cracks are beginning to show! It's been hot and sunny at the lake and we might be a bit fried from too much sun. I am really missing music and decent TV but all Lisa needs is her little Samsung. You’d Be Annoying!

We were really looking forward to singing but John spoiled it by feeling better! It's probably for the best because Lisa is always off key! Lisa quickly admits to being a cookie monster. Lol We celebrate Alex Trebec's 80th birthday and the release of his new book. The Jays aren't allowed to play home games in Toronto and Lisa is concerned for her beloved birds. Sam suggests dancing robots to fill the seats during baseball games. Lisa wants nothing to do with that. Princess Eugene got married and wore one of the Queens vintage dresses. Awwww!! Secrets Second Cousin?

We needed space so we decided to record apart again....is that a secret or a lie? You won't find out unless you listen to the podcast. Lisa gets up in arms and insists never to question this decision. We were shocked to hear about Kelly Preston, Naya Rivera and Benjamin Presley. However, the Blue Jays are back, back again!! Lisa is predicting a good year for the birds! Jann Arden interviewed Anne Murray on her podcast and yes Lisa listened to it already! A Six Hour Tour?

We needed a car break from each other after a three hour trip turned into a six hour trip there and back! Sam reveals that she cooked all weekend and Lisa tries to convince her that it was to help her shine. Ya right!! Sam outs Lisa because she broke her tongue with her over use of fuzzy peaches!
